Juree is an AI-driven platform that translates complex legal documents with precision and speed. Tailored for law firms, courts, and global enterprises, it ensures linguistic accuracy while preserving legal intent across jurisdictions. With support for multiple languages and industry-specific terminology, it streamlines cross-border communication and minimizes risks of misinterpretation. Confidentiality, compliance, and clarity—automated and at scale.

The Challenge

Legal translation is high-stakes: a single mistranslation can change contractual meaning or introduce compliance risk. The platform needed to:

• Preserve legal intent across jurisdictions and legal systems
• Support specialized terminology and consistent phrasing
• Enable secure collaboration between translators and legal teams
• Provide clear auditability for approvals and revisions
• Scale to large volumes without compromising quality

Our Solution

We built a translation workflow that balances precision, speed, and human accountability:

• Claude AI translation engine: Claude handles the initial translation of legal documents, optimized for preserving legal intent, jurisdiction-specific terminology, and consistent phrasing across large document sets.
• Reviewer-in-the-loop system: Every AI-generated translation passes through a structured human review stage before finalization. Reviewers can annotate, revise, and approve within the platform — ensuring accuracy is never fully delegated to automation.
• E-signature and approval workflows: Document approvals and e-signatures are built into the flow, so translated documents move from review to execution without leaving the platform.
• Google Drive and Google APIs integration: Documents are ingested from and synced back to Google Drive, making it easy for legal teams to work within their existing file management setup.
• Secure data layer: Built on PostgreSQL with Node.js, with role-based access controls that enforce confidentiality boundaries between clients, translators, and reviewers.
• Next.js frontend: A fast, structured review interface that surfaces the original and translated document side by side, with inline editing and comment threading.

Outcome

The headline result: translation turnaround dropped from 8 hours to 5 minutes — while keeping a qualified human reviewer in the loop on every document.
